Permanent Accounts Assistant opportunity to join our client in Altens. This is a full-time role, looking for an individual with holds strong existing experience in bookkeeping, banking, PO's, client/vendor contact and payroll.

    

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generating sales invoices, processing receipts, and recording invoices while maintaining accounts receivable ledgers. Pursuing and following up on outstanding debts.
  • Recording supplier invoices and payments in the accounts payable ledger. Aligning balances with supplier statements and ensure prompt payments in accordance with trade terms.
  • Conducting bank reconciliations, record payments and receipts in general ledgers, and reconciling control accounts with bank statements.
  • Organising and filing all documents, whether in digital or paper format, in a readily accessible manner.
  • Overseeing petty cash and conducting weekly reconciliations.
  • Recording payroll journals and reconciling all control accounts.
  • Undertaking additional finance-related tasks as necessary.
