Accounts Assistant - VR/31810

We are looking for an organised and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our friendly finance team on a short-term contract. This is a busy, high-volume role, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and support the team across various finance functions. Your primary function in this role will be to raise and manage Purchase orders using Sage 50.

   

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Raising and managing Purchase Orders.
  • Monitoring POs, follow up on queries, and liaise with internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as time allows.
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintain attention to detail.
  • Asking questions and gather information to ensure processes are completed efficiently.

        

About You:

  • Previous experience using Sage 50 is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and confidence liaising with multiple departments.
  • Able to work full-time, in-office.
