Assistant Accountant (Maternity Cover) - VR/26382
TMM is partnering with a local family run independent IT service company in their search for an Assistant Accountant. Offering a variety of bespoke IT solutions to a global client list, the company is going through a period of accelerated growth.
This is a standalone finance role, covering maternity with a view to going permanent thereafter.
Sage 50 experience is essential.
Individuals with a proven track record of working in a similar role and who are available at short notice are encouraged to apply. Alternatively strong bookkeeper profiles are equally encouraged to apply.
Training and a full handover will be provided.
Your expected duties will include the following:
- Daily invoice processing via Sage 50 and Connectwise.
- Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers.
- Completing monthly payroll for c.14 employees.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Month-end reporting.
- Credit control.
You should have a demonstrable ability to be organised, adaptable, self-motivated, and focused on achieving results.
