Assistant Accountant - VR/27681
Our client is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team following an upscaling in projects and workload. This is an ongoing temporary position, with the view of going permanent. You will be well versed with project accounting and completing month end close duties. Previous project accounting experience would be ideal. Individuals should have strong Excel experience
Working alongside a highly knowledgeable and committed team, your duties will include the following:
- Month End – P&L, Forecasting.
- Management Reporting.
- Calculating monthly revenue recognition entries for all projects.
- Maintaining project costs and revenues for all projects.
- Assisting with audit requirements.
- Ensuring contract amendments are recorded on SAP system and approved accordingly.
- Ensuring labour costs are allocated to the correct project as per employee timesheets.
