Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will encompass:

• Reconciliation and group reporting of intercompany accounts.
• Assisting with the monthly closing for group reporting by providing analysis and supporting schedules.
• Maintaining inventory adjustments in the ERP and support with the quarterly stock and mobile fixed assets counts.
• Maintaining the fixed asset registers and subledger in the ERP.
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on any issues as they arise and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Supporting the Accountant in the preparation of the UK and overseas VAT returns for all entities.
• Purchase invoices; including follow up of discrepancies.
• Supplier payment related queries.
• Maintaining posting of bank transactions.
• Supporting with audits both internal and external

Applicants to this role require

• 1-5 years experience working at Assistant Accountant level having started or looking to embark upon their professional studies OR an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant looking to step up.
