Reporting to the Billing and Procurement Manager, responsibilities will include:

• Managing the monthly billing cycle, ensuring all jobs are billed timely and in alignment with contractual terms.
• Supporting P&L month end review and analysis.
• Assuming responsibility for reducing the impact of bad debt charges and provisions on the profit and loss account.
• Collaborating with the central Credit Control Team to resolve invoice disputes promptly.
• Facilitating the setup of new customers.
• Enhancing efficiency and sustainability for increased productivity.

A key part of the role will be staff management. The ideal applicant will embrace a coaching approach to oversee and nurture direct reports, contributing to the development of the wider team. This includes various people management responsibilities such as cultivating a future talent pipeline and engaging in succession planning.

You should guide performance by establishing clear expectations and maintaining open communication through one-on-ones, team meetings, and regular feedback.
