In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager and be responsible for the procurement of a varied product range of goods and services.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Negotiating and sourcing procurement of goods and services and stock items.
• Analysing quotes to meet specific project requirements.
• Raising Purchase Orders (POs) to align with the business’s procedures and processes.
• Expediting POs to ensure on-time delivery and delivery dates are updated in the ERP system.
• Processing supplier non-conformances.
• Dealing with supplier invoice queries, corresponding with the Finance Department.
• Forecasting stock levels for general consumables and standard job-related items.
• Creating and maintaining regular reports in accordance with the departments KPIs.

Our client is seeking a candidate with the following skills, experience, and knowledge:

• Experience in procurement roles within the energy sector.
• Good knowledge of procurement procedures and processes.
• Experience of supplier negotiation.
• Ability to use own initiative, prioritise workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of supplier evaluation and/or auditing (not essential).
• Understanding of engineering drawings/specifications and technical knowledge (not essential).
• CIPS qualification (not essential).
