We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder with strong MIG and Carbon steel welding experience to join a reputable and busy engineering company on a short-term contract basis. There is potential for this role to be extended or made long-term for the right candidate based on performance and workload.
Overview job description
- Performing high-quality MIG welding on carbon steel components and structures.
- Interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures accurately.
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with company quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Applicants to this role require
- Proven experience with MIG welding on carbon steel.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Relevant welding qualifications or coding’s.
- Experience in a workshop or fabrication environment.
