The client is open to taken on either an experienced CNC Turner or an experienced CNC Horizontal Borer.  The role will involve working a 2/2 dayshift, nightshift rotation so applicants must be prepared to work a shift pattern.  The client would prefer applications from candidates who currently reside within a realistic commutable distance of Aberdeen.     

Experience / Skills:

CNC Horizontal Borer:

• Previous experience of setting and operating a CNC Horizontal Boring Mill or a Milling Machine Centre is essential.
• Previous CNC machining experience within the Oil and Gas Industry is essential.
• Applicants are expected be time served / fully qualified.
• Previous experience of working with Horizontal or Vertical Lathes would be preferred.
• Previous experience of working with Giddings and Lewis and Fanuc controls would be preferred.
• Experience with the editing of programmes would be preferred.

CNC Turner:

• Previous experience of setting and operating CNC Horizontal or Vertical Lathes is essential.
• Previous CNC machining experience within the Oil and Gas Industry is essential.
• Applicants are expected be time served / fully qualified.
• Previous experience with Fanuc controls would be preferred.
