Main duties and responsibilities:

• Machining a range of sealing products in plastic and rubber materials to the required quality standards, whilst meeting appropriate deadlines.
• Creating, loading, and modifying CNC programs.
• Setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Carrying out inspection of one’s own work and other operators second inspection.
• Ensuring all parts are manufactured to drawing and specified tolerances.
• Work scheduling.
• Stock management.

Applicants to this role require:

• Experience of Fanuc or Siemens controls.
• Applicants must have a sound engineering background.
• Be able to work from engineering drawings.
• Competent in the use of measuring equipment such as vernier callipers, height gauges and micrometres
• Must be computer literate.
