As Contracts Engineer, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of a contract, legal and commercial framework; working in consultation with customers and subcontractors to mitigate contractual risks and negotiate optimal contract conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Negotiating terms and conditions with customers; including contractual scope and commercial terms.
• Evaluating and advising on contractual and commercial content.
• Analysing needs and objective of clients, partners and internal departments.
• Analysing proposed customer text, translating in text proposals and incorporated into contracts.
• Verifying compliance with corporate legal guidelines.
• Identifying possible risks in contracts, proposing acceptable solutions and adjusting accordingly.
• Checking contracts for accuracy of data.
• Interfacing with internal departments to advice on contractual issues.

Applicants to this position should ideally offer previous experience in a similar position. It is essential that you are comfortable negotiating T&Cs and have an understanding of contractual models. You will ideally be a qualified lawyer or a legal background with a law degree.
