As Contracts Specialist, you’ll play a key role in managing pre- and post-award contracts with clients and subcontractors, working closely with project, supply chain, and legal teams to ensure contractual clarity and commercial protection.

   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting or leading contract reviews, qualifications, and negotiations during the tender stage.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal contracting principles.
  • Coordinating with internal teams on matters related to NDAs, tax, insurance, performance bonds, and guarantees.
  • Supporting the Contracts Manager with frame agreements and charter party reviews.
  • Preparing contract summaries and internal approval forms following contract award.
  • Leading the commercial-to-project handover process.
  • Providing contract support to project teams during execution, including dispute resolution.
  • Assisting supply chain with subcontractor contract reviews and negotiations.
  • Maintaining and tailoring proposal terms for specific tender requirements.
  • Supporting the administration of contracts and subcontracts.
  • Providing general support to the Contracts Manager.

           

About You:

  • Degree qualified in a commercial or related business discipline (preferred).
  • At least two years’ experience in a contracts or commercial department.
  • Background in oil and gas or renewables, ideally in marine services.
  • Familiar with standard marine construction contracts such as LOGIC and NSC 05.
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and supporting both client and subcontractor relationships.
  • Methodical, detail-oriented, and commercially aware.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all work.
