Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivering accurate, timely financial insights to support business performance reviews and decision-making processes.
• Carrying out key management accounting activities, including period-end close, reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
• Producing comprehensive variance analyses and actively participating in financial review and budget meetings.
• Assisting in the development and delivery of annual financial plans for designated operational sites.
• Collaborating with operational leaders to support robust financial planning and budget control.
• Providing accounting guidance in line with organisational procedures and financial regulations.
• Engaging with budget holders to ensure they understand and fulfil their financial responsibilities.
• Compiling detailed cost reports and undertake financial analysis on an ad-hoc basis.
• Contributing to enhancements in financial systems, controls, and reporting processes.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers and completing reconciliations to uphold financial integrity.

About You

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA).
• Demonstrable experience in creating financial reports, plans, and budgets.
• Strong skills in analysing financial performance and reporting on variances.
• Proven ability to develop cost reports and conduct in-depth financial analysis.
• Confident communicator, able to present financial insights clearly to various stakeholders.
• Solid background in ledger management and account reconciliations.
