Credit Control Supervisor - VR/27513
TMM are supporting our client with the appointment of a Credit Control Supervisor. Responsible for the daily supervision of the team as well as managing customer accounts, applicants will have strong credit control experience and high level of problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer accounts.
- Updating customer information as required, ensuring adequate supporting evidence.
- Updating customer accounts with notes relevant to individual cases.
- Communicating with customers to obtain payments to account, agreeing settlement terms with customers having trouble paying their balance.
- Coordinating with Treasury Accountant to ensure accurate customer Direct Debit collections.
- Accepting customer card payments from their telephone calls.
- Receiving customer calls and emails, investigating queries and providing sufficient response to ensure a satisfying experience for the customer.
- As internal customers, liaising with the Sales Team to action issues from their individual Debt Reports.
- Reviewing periodically the performance of debt ageing per Credit Controller through a Top 100 / >90 day mechanism. Holding regular Debtor meetings with Controllers to discuss target areas.
- Monitoring relevant KPIs for the group to ensure improvement and highlight areas of concern as applicable.
- Actively working to ensure continuous improvement within the Credit Control Team through process efficiencies and key deliverables.
