A maintenance organisation to the South of Aberdeen City is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on an initial 3-month period, with the potential to be longer term / permanent in return for merits in the role.

    

The successful candidate will have existing experience in credit control and is looking for a new challenge.

     

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all money is collected in a timely manner and aligns with the company’s credit terms.
  • Dealing with outstanding debts and ensuring they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Dealing with invoice queries and passing on to the relevant department.
  • Posting and allocating all incoming cash / cheques.
  • Producing and posting credit and invoices when required.
  • Ensuring reconciliation of the sales to nominal ledger on a monthly basis.
  • Reviewing the sales ledger regularly and ensuring everything is treated appropriately.
  • Ensuring good relationships with customers are held.

     

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience within a credit control role, ensuring existing understand of the process.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excel skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work as a team.
