Credit Controller - VR/26279
A maintenance organisation to the South of Aberdeen City is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on an initial 3-month period, with the potential to be longer term / permanent in return for merits in the role.
The successful candidate will have existing experience in credit control and is looking for a new challenge.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all money is collected in a timely manner and aligns with the company’s credit terms.
- Dealing with outstanding debts and ensuring they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Dealing with invoice queries and passing on to the relevant department.
- Posting and allocating all incoming cash / cheques.
- Producing and posting credit and invoices when required.
- Ensuring reconciliation of the sales to nominal ledger on a monthly basis.
- Reviewing the sales ledger regularly and ensuring everything is treated appropriately.
- Ensuring good relationships with customers are held.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience within a credit control role, ensuring existing understand of the process.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excel skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work as a team.
