We are supporting our client in finding a Data Analyst to join the team at their head office in Aberdeen. This role is pivotal to the delivery of accurate and timely information to the business. You will be working closely with the Finance Director and other members of the Senior Management Team and will also be highly visible to the private equity investors.

     

Overview

The Data Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing and administration of business intelligence solutions across the organisation.

            

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Improving the reporting generated from the various operational systems across the business streams.
  • Reviewing various systems and business procedures with a view to automating processes where applicable.
  • Designing and developing visualisation dashboards for key performance indicators across each business and be responsible for administering them going forward.
  • Assisting with general IT helpdesk queries.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experienced with PowerBi or other data visualisation programmes.
  • Possess a positive attitude and can work well with others.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of supporting cloud and locally hosted applications
  • Ability to perform tasks and achieve results ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently.
