The Designer (SBT / Piping) will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Producing accurate SBT / Piping models, and high-level technical drawings for client sign-off and workshop production.
• Reviewing and interpreting client technical information such as schematics, manufacturing drawings, and specifications.
• Preparing and reviewing in-house technical documentation and procedures.
• Providing technical support and advice with engineering queries.
• Self-checking drawings and technical data, and the checking / reviewing of colleague design outputs.
• Attending client meetings and liaising with Manufacturing Teams.
• Producing accurate MTOs / Bill of Materials.

Experience / Qualifications:

• An HNC / HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline would be preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience with the design of small bore tubing / piping layouts for subsea equipment is essential.
• Experience with SolidWorks is essential.
