Digital Marketing Executive - VR/26122
Working between multiple sites in Central Aberdeen, this role is supporting a growing and innovative organisation. A Digital Marketing Executive is required on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for creating and developing the digital marketing strategy and experience within digital marketing and communications would be preferred. Reporting to the Director and working closely with the wider Marketing and Communications Team, this new role will raise the profile of the business and the new projects in progress. This role is primarily responsible for creating and leading the delivery of digital marketing and communications for different business units to support growth, development activities, stakeholder and community engagement.
Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating content to engage target audiences across multiple digital platforms, initiate conversations with customers and stakeholders.
- Proactively using digital media and channels to highlight opportunities.
- Growing the audience and number of followers on social media to raise the profile of the business.
- Proactively identifying connections, opportunities and resources to strengthen the communications and messaging.
- Proactively managing and maintaining the website content aligned to the digital media activity.
Applicants to this role require
- Degree qualified preferably and / or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing and social media communications role.
- An excellent content producer – you can create compelling and engaging content of varied formats (including graphics, short form video, blogs) across a range of digital and social channels.
- An expert in planning and delivering digital media activities to a range of target audiences.
- A proficient user of social media management and content creation tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva).
- Developing and delivering content via multiple social media channels to grow audience, increase followers and drive engagement.
- Ability to communicate and relate to a range of customers, partners, and stakeholders.
