Reporting to the Draughting Team Lead, the Draughtsperson will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Creating detailed hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics suitable for manufacture.
• Assisting with the creation of detailed fabrication, machining and assembly drawings suitable for manufacture.
• Creating 2D layouts and sketches.
• Creating detailed 3D models and assemblies.  
• Generating Bill of Materials and selection of suitable components.
• Communicating design data to project delivery teams, external suppliers and clients as required.
• Checking drawings and documents created by other team members.
• Coordinating and consulting others in the Design Team and Project / Manufacturing / SCM teams to resolve designs or other problems.
• Attend onsite surveys.

Experience / Qualifications:

• An HNC / HND qualification in a relevant engineering discipline would be preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role, directly within the North Sea oil and gas industry, is essential.
• Applicants should have experience with hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Experience with AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault and Inventor would be preferred.
