Offshore Drilling Materials Coordinator required to support a drilling campaign scheduled to start in January 2022. This position is offered on a contract basis until September with a 3/3 rotation.

     

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Senior Drilling Supervisor and onshore Logistics Team in the call off of equipment, materials and personal to ensure they arrive in a timely manner at the Rig site.
  • Booking all Drilling personnel helicopter flights, liaising with operational and support staff.
  • Focusing on planning to minimise urgent shipment of equipment as far as practical and forward approved requisition to the onshore logistics team.
  • Preparing and distributing daily operations and logistics look-ahead as directed by the Drill Rep.
  • Maintaining accurate records of received and outstanding requisitions and cargo manifests and track purchase orders.
  • Preparing periodic reports for the Senior Offshore Drilling Supervisor and onshore Logistics Team as required.
  • Regularly reviewing the obsolete and surplus rental equipment, materials and advise the Offshore Senior Drilling Supervisor for follow up.
  • Using the Oilfield OS and SAP systems system to maintain an accurate inventory of all rental equipment, materials and third party’s equipment at the Rig site and that of any equipment, materials round tripped on Boats.
  • Preparing and updating drilling tool and equipment rental costs for daily reporting.
  • Physically checking for discrepancies in equipment, materials received against delivery notes and outward-bound manifests.
  • Assisting in procurement incidents, issues and reporting of incorrect delivery notes and manifests.
  • Assisting in the manifesting and control of third-party equipment, material as required.
  • Ensuring that all hazardous and none hazardous wastes are correctly labelled and packaged prior to shipping ashore.
  • Maintaining an accurate log of all containers and third-party equipment lifting and operational certifications.
  • Liaising with Deck Leader on deck management issues and assist with identification of lift prioritisation (drilling vs ops).

      

Applicants to this role must have offshore experience in the drilling industry, and hold a valid Dangerous Goods by Air and Sea certificate. Valid UK Offshore Medical, BOSIET & MIST certificates are also essential for this role, as are excellent communication skills. TMM Recruitment
