Field Service Coordinator - VR/26067
Our client is on the lookout for a Marine Support Engineer / Coordinator for their Aberdeen based office. This is a shore-based role and the candidate will have a marine engineering background with knowledge and experience of 4stroke engines and propulsion equipment. The role will perhaps suit an ex Second Engineer, Chief Engineer or Marine Superintendent.
Keys aspects of the role will be acting as the ‘go-between’ for the company and their clients, supporting them with their operations in terms of dry docking, engine maintenance and repair, planning etc.
A technical understanding is key as the successful candidate needs to be able to understand how the equipment is used and the challenges that are presented.
