Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your role will involve:

• Maintaining overall balance sheet control.
• Producing the first draft of monthly management accounts.
• Cash management.
• Preparing weekly cash forecasts.
• Supporting Production and Operations Teams with development and regular review of budgets.
• Assisting Production and Operations Teams with preparation of capital expenditure proposals.
• Supporting the Group Financial Controller with preparation of financial statements, corporation tax computation and liaising with auditors to deliver the year end.
• Driving process improvement.
• Managing the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Teams.
• Developing the Finance Team’s business partnering capability.
• Deputising for the Group Financial Controller when needed.

About You:

• Experienced accountant holding ICAS/ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA qualifications ideally.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Experience working with auditors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships across all internal departments and external stakeholders.
