Finance Manager - VR/31630
A leading charity is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to oversee and manage its financial operations. This key role includes preparing management reports, annual budgets, coordinating external audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. The successful candidate will lead a small finance team, enhance financial systems and controls, and provide clear insight to senior leadership and trustees. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to support strategic priorities and drive financial sustainability. This is a part-time (30 hours/week), permanent role, based at the organisation’s offices.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day financial operations.
- Preparing budgets, management reports, and financial forecasts.
- Coordinating annual audits and ensure statutory compliance.
- Leading and supporting a small finance team.
- Improving financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Providing financial insight and advice to senior leadership and trustees.
- Supporting strategic priorities and drive financial sustainability.
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
