Main duties and responsibilities

• Supporting the preparation of internal and external reporting on a monthly basis.
• Providing profitability analysis support to project teams.
• Assisting with reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Documenting project-level forecasts and free cash flow.
• Assisting project management with the development of short-term and long-term planning.
• Involvement in external compliance reporting, including compliance with provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Supporting the application of financial standards across the organisation.

Applicants to this role require

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent level of relevant experience.
• Comprehensive experience in accounting and finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and UK GAAP regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, and a well-rounded knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Ability to support others as a team player.
• Proficiency in a current ERP system preferred.
