Exciting long-term contract opportunity available with a leading global E&P organisation. As a G&A Intercompany Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy of cost reallocations and intercompany balances, preparing monthly invoices for affiliates, gather supporting documentation, and promptly address any billing queries.

    

Duties include:

  • Preparing and issuing intercompany invoices, along with monthly analysis reports.
  • Providing supporting documentation to affiliates to validate invoices.
  • Supplying accrual information to intercompany affiliates.
  • Ensuring timely issuance of invoices to affiliates.
  • Preparing VAT-only invoices and creating journal vouchers for instances of incorrect VAT accounting.
  • Addressing and resolving incoming queries from affiliates regarding billed charges whenever possible.
  • Assisting in the monthly reconciliation of outstanding intercompany balances.
  • Maintaining an updated intercompany allocation model to track recharges to and from affiliates.
  • Keeping the integration recharge model current, monitoring spending against integration recharge cost codes.
  • Managing cost allocation recharge codes and methodologies across various systems.
  • Monitoring recharges generated by multiple systems.
  • Supporting ad hoc project work.

        

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Finance, Business Studies, Economics, or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience. Part-qualified accountants are also considered.
  • Previous experience in an oil company or oil service company in roles such as receivables controller, treasury accountant, or cash book accountant preferred.

       

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with financial software applications.
  • Proficient in Excel to an intermediate level.
