HR Advisor - VR/31643

Joining the HR function on a six month contract, you will provide proactive and professional HR support across a diverse workforce. Working closely with Managers, employees and key stakeholders, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring effective people processes, smooth day to day operations and a consistent employee experience.

     

Main duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Delivering day-to-day generalist HR support across assigned business areas, covering recruitment, pay and benefits, performance, communications, training, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for employee queries, ensuring guidance is accurate, timely, and aligned with policy.
  • Monitoring absence data, support occupational health processes, and help ensure effective return to work management.
  • Supporting the HR Business Partnering Team with employee relations matters, including note-taking, investigation support, and case file preparation.
  • Conducting exit interviews, maternity meetings and flexible working discussions, ensuring insights are captured and reported.
  • Managing the project HR mailbox, providing responsive, high-quality support across all employee queries.
  • Collaborating closely with HR Shared Services to ensure contracts, variations and system updates are accurate and consistent.
  • Supporting compensation activities including rate reviews, data checking, and annual programme coordination.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Strong generalist HR experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree qualified in HR, Business or related discipline; CIPD accreditation is desirable.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels.
  • Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset.
