With a workforce of around 130, Archway’s Board of Trustees has identified the need to employ the company’s first dedicated HR professional, who will take on responsibility for the full suite of Generalist activities.

The brand-new HR Manager will create/improve and manage the organisation’s HR policies, whilst driving recruitment, staff development and retention within a competitive social care environment.

Providing guidance and support on all HR matters to the company’s managers and wider employee pool, this role is best suited to either an experienced HR Advisor seeking a step-up to HRM level, or an accomplished HRBP or Manager keen to make their mark in a standalone position.

With the support of a highly-engaged Board of Trustees and an L&D Manager, Archway’s HR Manager will be given free rein to develop the company’s HR as they see fit, and encouraged to use innovative techniques to enhance the employee journey.

Archway provides a rewarding and stimulating working environment in a third sector setting. The role itself is based in Aberdeen City Centre, with onsite parking and scope to work from home for at least part of the working week.

The Board has approved the hiring of a full-time HR Manager, however Archway is happy to consider candidates seeking part-time hours instead (with responsibilities and division of tasks between various members of the leadership team to be negotiated depending on agreed hours).
