HSE professionals! A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a standalone HSE Manager to join a fast-paced energy services company based in Dyce, Aberdeen. This is a permanent staff role, offering a 37.5-hour week & hybrid working. This is an ideal role is for a confident and approachable HSE professional who is keen to make the role their own.

  

About the Company

You’ll be joining a well-established company who specialise in designing and manufacturing products to support upstream onshore and offshore activities. With a small team in Dyce, they pride themselves on maintaining a collaborative and supportive environment while delivering high standards across their operations.

       

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning and managing the HSE function as a standalone role, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and best practice.
  • Supporting and advising managers to fulfil their HSE responsibilities.
  • Promoting a proactive HSE culture through communication, training, and awareness campaigns.
  • Maintaining and improving HSE policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Leading investigations into incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up and reporting.
  • Representing the company to external regulatory bodies as required.

         

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience within an oil & gas manufacturing environment.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards it).
  • Previous experience in an HSE Manager or Advisor role, looking to take the next step.
  • A calm, level-headed individual who thrives under pressure.
  • Someone who can get along with people easily but is also confident enough to stand their ground and communicate effectively at all levels.

          

Working Hours & Flexibility

  • 37.5 hour working week.
  • Flexible start and finish times.
  • Hybrid working available – up to 2 days working from home per week, depending on business needs and workload.
