Overview job description

We are looking for 2x Infrastructure & Operations Engineers to join a collaborative IT team based on-site in Cove Bay. This role involves managing, maintaining, and supporting IT Infrastructure across multiple locations, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient operations.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Managing and supporting servers, networking, storage, telephony, and client hardware.
• Ensuring security compliance through patching, monitoring, and remediation.
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues, providing hands-on engineering support.
• Maintaining accurate documentation, inventories, and licensing records.
• Collaborating with IT colleagues and business users to deliver excellent service.
• Participating in IT projects, continuity planning, and provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Degree in IT or equivalent experience desirable.
• Around 10+ years of experience in a similar IT infrastructure role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop, Microsoft 365, storage systems, and systems management tools.
• Experience with networking, virtualisation, and cloud platforms is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
