Interim cover required for a Communications Specialist. Based in Westhill, the opportunity for hybrid working would be available for this 6 month contract. This is a full time role providing a breadth of support to the Communications Team. This role will specifically focus on implementing the internal and external communications strategy. Experience in a similar role from a large multinational company would be essential for this role.

    

It is the purpose of this role to provide interim support across the whole Communications Team. This role will be responsible for implementing the internal and external communications strategy and ensure all messaging is consistent and engaging.

          

Duties Include:

  • Implementing internal communications plan.
  • Coordinating and engaging with Management and HR to drive internal communications messaging.
  • Brand management – ensuring communications activities consistently adhere to employer brand guidelines.
  • Supporting the Leadership Team in preparation of internal and external high-level presentation material and content.
  • Implementing marketing plans.
  • Producing and editing publications.
  • Event management of participation at selected conferences/events.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management and development of social media channels and website.
  • Business improvement projects that evolve the Communications Teams ways of working and / or support the business.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

         

Key Requirements:

  • Being creative, autonomous, flexible and adaptable to suit nature of working in communications environment.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working under own direction.
  • Ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences.
  • Strong planning skills are critical to manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent projects.
  • Demonstratable track record of successful project delivery, on time and to budget.
  • Experience of working in a large multinational company.
