Internal Sales Engineer - VR/30849
A leading provider of subsea technology is looking for an Internal Sales Engineer to support the sale and rental of specialist software and equipment used in offshore inspection and survey operations. This role is perfect for someone with a technical mindset who enjoys working with customers, handling enquiries, and ensuring smooth sales and rental processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing quotations for the sale, rental, and maintenance of software and hardware.
- Processing purchase orders and ensure accurate job documentation.
- Providing technical advice and support to customers.
- Administering rental agreements and track contract variations.
- Identifying opportunities for product upgrades and engaging with customers.
- Planning and managing Support and Maintenance Agreements.
- Working with product support teams to ensure equipment availability.
- Assisting in preparing sales presentations and marketing materials.
- Maintaining accurate records and follow up on business opportunities.
- Contributing to a safe and organised working environment.
About You:
- Experienced in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Highly organised, process-driven, and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in sales and rental processes.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working as part of a team and collaborating across different functions.
- Experience of ERP systems.
- Familiarity with PC architecture and peripherals would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of subsea operations or digital video technology would be an advantage.
- A degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field would be beneficial but is not essential.
