Overview job description

• Dimensional inspection of raw and machined components during different stages of manufacture.
• Ensuring all calibration of equipment is up to date.
• Signing off operations and tasks deemed acceptable during the inspection process.
• Investigating and raising non-conformances identified during inspection process.
• Providing instructions for re-works to be undertaken.
• Promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continual improvements.
• Responsible for ensuring all goods receiving reports / certification are correctly processed.
• Verifying condition / description of outgoing parts complies with order requirements.
• Ensuring shipping inspection reports / certification is correctly processed.

Applicants to this role require

• HNC / equivalent in mechanical engineering
• Relevant experience within related industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Knowledge and experience using measuring equipment.
• Good General PC skills include excel, word, email.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
• Excellent attention to detail.
