The Operations Superintendent will be the main onshore focal point for all operational activities on the asset.

The Operations Superintendent will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Reviewing, assessing and progressing operational issues through to completion.
• Liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring up-to-date, timely and complete administration and reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with local legislation and industry best practice and advise of risks and opportunities associated with compliance and implement agreed solutions.
• Prioritising work of assigned employees or contractors.
• Managing and coordinating installation modifications and operational queries in conjunction with the Facilities Engineer.
• Liaising with Discipline Engineers, other internal departments and external parties when required, to ensure that operational issues requiring attention outside own capabilities are adequately addressed in a safe and timely manner.
• Responsible for delivering the yearly, 90 and 28-day asset plan.
• Directing the Asset Planner and the Offshore Management Team regarding the installation look ahead planning (short and long-term) to ensure that conflict and clashes in the work programme do not occur.

Experience / Qualifications:

• A relevant engineering degree qualification would be preferred.
• Current / valid offshore certification would be preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar Operations Superintendent type role, directly within the North Sea oil and gas industry, is essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role, directly with an FPSO operator / E&P company, would be preferred.
• Experience of supervising teams and managing safety in challenging environments is essential.
• Experience with Maximo would be preferred.
