Part-Time Accounts Assistant - VR/31208

An established industrial services company based in Aberdeenshire is seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the accounts payable function while also assisting with a variety of general finance tasks. This position offers flexible working hours, allowing you to choose how you structure your 24-hour work week.

     

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Accurately processing and matching incoming invoices.
  • Conducting supplier statement reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Supporting the payment run process, in addition to assisting with month-end tasks.
  • Assisting the wider Accounts Department with ad-hoc administrative and finance-related tasks.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Previous relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in Excel, alongside familiarity in other accounting software such as Sage/Xero.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Excellent attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to contribute within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
