Payroll Support - VR/31388
An opportunity has arisen to join a growing team in a Payroll Support capacity on a temporary ongoing basis. This role will see you support the existing payroll team in preparing the company payroll. To succeed in this role, you should have some previous experience within a payroll function.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting the processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintaining and updating payroll records with a high level of attention to detail.
- Assisting with checking timesheets, pay information and staff data.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as tax and deductions.
- Responding to payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Providing support with reporting and reconciliations where required.
- Working closely with colleagues to meet payroll deadlines.
- Inputting and maintaining data in payroll and ERP systems.
- Using Microsoft packages to support payroll administration.
- Contributing to process improvements within the payroll function.
About You
- Previous experience working in payroll (any level of experience considered).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of payroll processes, tax and deductions.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
