Personnel Logistics Manager - VR/24073
TMM Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing Energy Service business seeking a new Personnel Logistics Manager. This permanent, Aberdeen-based position will lead an experienced team of Coordinators and is best suited to applicants with extensive Personnel Logistics and supervisory experience gained within the Energy industry. The role will become more internationally-focused over time, which will lead to a requirement for ad-hoc overseas travel. NOTE: the position can also be offered on a contract basis for those with quick availability.
You will be proactively and professionally supporting and managing personnel logistics (onshore and offshore labour), allocation of resources and mobilisation needs throughout the business, predominantly in the UK as well as progressing across Europe and Africa to support growth and regional business integration.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring end to end support to the business for all logistics of onshore and offshore personnel following approval of employment requisitions.
- Contract representative and master/super user of company’s Logistics System.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance and providing support where required with all mobilisation requirements for overseas travel, including Visas and vaccinations.
- Contract representative for travel management process ensuring that an accurate service is attained for the company and that any shortfalls are appropriately managed.
- Working with the Training Team to ensure that all matrix information is accurate and regularly updated by the team.
- Working with Line Managers to ensure that all client jobs are resourced internally with competent personnel in line with current legislation and the operational needs of the business.
- Working with the business to ensure sufficient scheduling, utilisation and compliance of both staff and temporary skills pool.
- Fortnight and lookahead utilisation reporting to the business using tracker.
- Monitoring and further developing system, processes, roles and responsibilities to ensure direct delivery of temporary workers and focus on continuous system improvements for efficiencies.
- Providing management reports including contractor engagement, utilisation and forecasts.
- Managing data integrity audits.
- Supporting bidding and tendering activity as requested.

- Demonstrable experience of managing and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial awareness.
- Experience of systems implementation and the processes of continual improvement in this area.
- Understanding of visa processes and international mobilisation.
- Communicates clear standards for performance.
- Deals effectively with pressure and conflicting priorities.
- Finds ways to condense large amounts of information into a useful form.
- Manages progress against schedule and monitors against quality standards.
