The Process Engineer will provide process engineering support to UK operations, as well as input to modifications and projects where required. 

The Process Engineer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Assessing and developing potential engineering work scopes with the aim of providing process safety, environmental, reliability and production enhancements.
• Developing and reviewing detailed calculations, process engineering datasheets, process simulation models and drawings to satisfy the process engineering requirements of the assets.
• Assisting in completion of process safety reviews (e.g., HAZOP and LOPA). When required, close out actions from such reviews.
• Providing technical support to Operations Teams when requested.
• Assisting in challenging the technical content, engineering performance and cost of modification projects.
• Assisting in delivery of technical work management scopes (engineering work initiation and screening process) for proposed studies, modifications and projects.
• Participating in research and development projects where required.

Experience / Qualifications:

• A Chemical / Process Engineering Degree qualification is essential.
• Chartered Engineer status would be preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar Process Engineer type role, directly within the North Sea oil and gas industry, is essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role, directly with an E&P company/operator, would be preferred.
• Applicants should have operations and maintenance-focused process engineering experience.
