Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Project Accountant will have line management responsibility for a team of Sales Accounts Assistants. You will be responsible for month end reporting, working capital and invoicing. Main duties will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts alongside variance analysis and commentary.
• Financial reporting for projects.
• Work in progress review on a daily and weekly basis.
• Resolving credit control issues.
• Preparing forecasts and budgets.
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects.

This role requires a self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team. You must have excellent attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines. Experience working in a similar role reporting for large projects is essential. Experience in line management is desirable.
