Looking for a QA Administrator to support on a temporary ongoing basis with energy company based in south side of Aberdeen. This will be a fully office based role with the successful candidate possessing strong administrative skills, if not already holding previous QA experience.

      

Reporting to the QA Assistants, as QA Administrator you will be required to hit the ground running to support with a variety of activities in relation to the co-ordination of project specific QA/QC requirements.

           

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients in regards to third party inspection activities.
  • Reviewing Vendor NDT Certification for accuracy.
  • Ensuring material test certification has been completed accurately and fully and advises appropriate party of certification which has been rejected.
  • Liaising with welding inspector in regards to monitoring welder qualification matrix's and collates all information for third party 6 monthly approval process.
  • Marking up weld identification/weld maps.
  • Reviewing NDT and coating procedures
  • Review and accept sub-contractor NDT and paint reports.
  • Submit WPA forms for approval.
  • Assisting QHSE Manager with internal and vendor audits as required.
  • Archiving QA records in an appropriate timeframe.
  • Producing QA reports from the system as required in conjunction with client specific requirements.

                      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Previous experience in a QA support/administration role.
  • Good working knowledge of NDT/test certification and material certificate requirements.
  • Working knowledge of fabrication drawings.
  • Good office IT skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and effectively.
  • Accurate with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete work to the appropriate standard.
  • Good team-working and communication skills.
