Sales Executive - VR/31021

A well-established company is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Executive to support both sales and operational functions. This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone with proven experience in a similar role who is ready to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role based on a 40-hour week, with hybrid working available. The business offers flexible working arrangements, allowing some choice in how hours are structured throughout the week.

     

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Providing quotations for all incoming enquiries.
  • Coordinating daily with sales and operations teams on project and delivery requirements.
  • Assisting with the completion of tenders, including evaluation and negotiation to minimise company costs.
  • Arranging and coordinating international and domestic shipping, including customs and documentation.
  • Ordering, tracking, and reporting ETS for all incoming and outgoing shipments to relevant departments.
  • Processing Goods Received Notes in Sage 50.
  • Procuring approved items in line with authorised purchase orders.
  • Consolidating vendor lists to support cost efficiency.
  • Compiling and delivering certification packages.
  • Ensuring equipment calibration and maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Preparing operations-related documentation, including shipping paperwork.
  • Verifying deliveries against customer purchase orders.
  • Collaborating with management to support strategic initiatives and improvements.
  • Working cross-functionally to integrate logistics with wider business processes.
  • Assisting with onboarding of new employees and maintaining employee records.
  • Carrying out additional tasks as directed by your reporting Manager.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Analytical approach with problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information.
  • Confident working independently as well as within a team.
