Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and direction to the SAP SCM team and the wider SCM function.
• Promoting global standardised processes within the company.
• Working closely with the SAP Specialists and third-party support providers to deliver robust and 'fit for purpose' solutions.
• Identifying opportunities for the company to gain efficiencies by using SAP in a smarter way.
• Supporting the Global SAP Manager and SCM Process Owner in roadmap planning & delivery.
• Prioritising change requests and supporting call for related modules of SAP and SAP Ariba.
• Acting as the project & change lead for business improvement initiatives as required.
• Managing and coordinating the testing of all configuration changes made to SAP and SAP Ariba.
• Proactively engaging with software and consulting partners to understand future technology trends and defining their relevance and potential to the organisation.
• Providing necessary input & support to end users.
• Participating in system audits and manage regular system monitoring.
• Assisting with the translation of business requirements into SAP functionality and managing the expectations of the business where appropriate.
• Accountability for adherence to security and architectural standards for SAP related systems, processes and services.

To be shortlisted for this opportunity, you’ll need a cross-functional knowledge of SAP MM, IM, Log and associated business processes. Knowledge of SAP Ariba is also required. Experience in SAP consulting/team management is preferred.
