Senior Accounts Assistant - VR/29401

Senior Accounts Assistant required to join a leading research-based organisation in the heart of Aberdeen. You’ll primarily support the Accounts Payable function. Ideally you will have strong accounts payable background and be familiar with Sage 50 or CRM.


Reporting to the Head of Finance, your duties will include the following:

  • Processing, managing and maintaining the CRM.
  • Supporting with any invoice queries/reporting.
  • Communicating with vendors.
  • Reconciling vendor statements.
  • Training new staff on CRM system/invoicing procedures.
  • Maintaining and updating invoicing instructions.
  • Updating and maintaining the AP Allocation list.
  • Maintaining the operating procedures for the CRM on a regular basis.
  • Documenting and maintaining the CRM processing procedure.
  • Compiling and submitting VAT returns.
  • Performing financial analysis tasks as requested.
  • Continuous Improvement of finance processes.
