Senior ERP Analyst/Developer - VR/26495
TMM Recruitment are working with a market leading energy sector company who are headquartered in Cove help find a Senior ERP Analyst/Developer with permanent and contract options available.
All aspects of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) lifecycle management including analysing, designing, integrating, customising, developing, deploying, testing, training, and supporting.
- Business process analysing/designing and technical realisation through ERP.
- Completing ERP enhancements, extensions, and updates, engaging at all organisation levels to deliver solutions.
- Proposing, integrating, and deploying third-party ERP modules as required.
- Engaging with the business recommending and delivering ERP solutions.
- Understanding organisation structure, policies, and operations, recommending appropriate ERP solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analysing and developing ERP including application interfaces and reporting solutions.
- Analysing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the Syspro ERP system including the database back-end.
- To be a point of seniority and escalation within the team for ERP related matters.
- Analysing and proposing business process improvement and coordination of subsequent technical implementation.
- Working with key business stakeholders to design and implement processes and systems, ensuring these meet strategic business goals.
- Developing a strong understanding of organisation structure, policies, and processes, recommending appropriate solutions, and improvements.
- Retaining business process and technical knowledge of the company ERP system and related solutions.
- Establishing and cementing strong relationships at appropriate levels across the company to ensure a broad organisational ERP understanding, working as ‘One Team’ to achieve best performance and outputs.
- Improving business process efficiency by de-skilling and automating tasks and through ERP configuration and integration.
- Recommending/deploying ERP-related software solutions to continuously improve process.
- Contributing to ERP frequency-based activities and business systems on-call duty cover on a rotational basis.
- Contributing to business systems IT as required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Degree or equivalent experience in suitable IT discipline.
- Significant experience delivering ERP analysis/development.
- A demonstrable track record of achievement both within ERP and ideally from a more general ERP projects perspective.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport within the company.
- Analysis and development of solutions in an ERP environment.
- Business process analysis.
- Ability to convey process and appropriate technical detail at all levels.
- ERP development, deployment, customisation, and integration including modules and the database backend.
- Business analysis and process design.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Desired
- Relevant certification.
- A good understanding of, and ideally experience within operational and project management areas, in the context of defining, implementing, and executing improvement plans and the achievement of associated objectives.
- Experience of manufacturing, distribution, and sales IT.
- Demonstrable technical skills in a Microsoft environment including applications development (Visual Studio, SQL Server).
- Experience with Syspro ERP System.
- Microsoft SQL Server database development.
- Software programming languages and development.
