Senior Well Integrity Engineer - VR/27677
Currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Well Integrity Engineer on a contract basis for an E&P Company based in Kingswells, Aberdeen. It is a 12-month contact position and the company are only considering PAYE contractors for this particular role. Hybrid working opportunities will be available and this role may involve occasional offshore travel - therefore, applicants must be prepared to work offshore.
The Senior Well Integrity Engineer will have the following main duties and responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to Asset Hubs (Production Performance and Production Operations) on well integrity matters.
- Providing technical support, and monitor / improve processes and interventions.
- Directing and developing operational plans.
- Supporting in achieving operational plans and regulatory compliance.
- Attending and providing technical input to well reviews, ORA, MOC, Risk Assessments and production opportunity work.
- Ensuring that Risk Assessment output drives issues to closure or to ALARP.
- Developing technical solutions for known well integrity issues.
- Ensuring review / sign off of well integrity checks results are completed.
- Consulting regularly with the Production Delivery team to ensure that their requirements are understood and met.
- Technical input to Basis of Design documents for upcoming projects.
- Monitoring daily reports, highlighting anomalies and trends, and feedback to Production Engineers.
- Developing and providing input to operational schedules prior to operation.
- Ensuring procedures, people and equipment are ready for offshore operations.
- Operational engineering support during the execution of projects.
- Reviewing and updating company procedures as required.
- Complying with all company procedures and standards.
- Ensuring work packs are closed out in a timely manner.
- Providing weekend duty cover as per schedule.
- Gathering data for well integrity KPI’s and reports.
- Assisting with Well Services engineering and operations as workload dictates.
Experience / Qualifications:
- A relevant Engineering degree qualification would be preferred.
- Current / valid offshore certification would be preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar Senior Well Integrity Engineer type role, directly within the North Sea Oil and Gas industry, is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role, directly with an E&P company / operator, would be preferred.
- Experience with well intervention and integrity techniques and well operations is essential.
- Experience in well intervention, construction or design is essential.
- A proven track record in offshore operations is essential.
