Tendering Specialist - VR/30844

A leading provider of marine and subsea services is seeking a Tendering Specialist to manage complex bids for offshore energy and marine projects. With a fleet of advanced offshore vessels and a strong track record in delivering integrated subsea, marine, and project logistics solutions, the company plays a key role in supporting offshore operations worldwide. This role sits at the heart of a commercially driven team, working with technical experts and business development professionals to secure high-value contracts in a fast-paced, global environment.

     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full tendering process, from reviewing Invitations to Tender (ITTs) to contract handover.
  • Analysing project scopes, interpreting client requirements, and preparing cost estimates, pricing strategies, and schedules.
  • Conducting pre-submission reviews, ensuring accuracy in costings, margins, and risk assessments.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, Commercial Teams, and Technical Specialists, to develop competitive tenders.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal approval processes and client submission requirements.
  • Representing the company in client discussions, negotiations, and industry events.
  • Tracking and reporting on tender performance, identifying areas for improvement.

      

About You:

  • Significant experience in a similar Tendering role. Knowledge of subsea tooling would be beneficial.
  • Ability to analyse project scopes, interpret technical specifications, and prepare cost estimates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging with internal teams, clients, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all tender documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for pricing and analytical work.
  • Adaptable and capable of working in a dynamic environment.
