Timekeeper and Accounts Assistant - VR/30399
Temporary opening for a Timekeeper and Accounts Assistant with a global energy services company. This role involves monitoring the time entries of staff and contractor populations, as well as assisting in the review of both sales and purchase invoices. This role is suited to someone with accounts administration experience and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Accounts Assistant
- Monitoring of the finance mailbox.
- Collating and generating sales invoices within the internal system.
- Assisting the Accountant with collating information for cost and reconciliation analysis.
- Assisting others in answering invoice related queries from clients and vendors.
- Monitoring expenditure incurred against call-off orders, advising the Accountant of any overspend to ensure prompt resolution.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Timekeeping
- Assisting with the collation of timesheet related information and inputting this into the timesheet system.
- Ensuring accuracy by chasing personnel on late timesheet entries, and following up with any corrections to be made.
- Preparing time and cost reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Dealing with any time-related queries.
Applicants to this role require:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective multi-level communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate effective time management skills and workload prioritisation.
- Ability to complete tasks to deadlines and work under pressure when required.
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role, and experience on an ERP system desirable, but not essential.
