They are looking for individuals with a grounding in finance with up to 5 years’ experience.  The role will support operations and projects whilst also working with the Financial Reporting Team. 

They are looking for candidates who would like to study a professional accountancy qualification and they will offer study support and a mentor.  Applications from Graduate Apprenticeships are welcome. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting with month end accruals and deferrals.
• Analysing all P&L costs to ensure accuracy with coding.
• Reconciling the P&L nominal codes on a weekly basis.
• Issuing budget v actual reports on a weekly basis and discussing this with stakeholders.
• Maintaining high standards of the P&L reporting.
• Assisting with external audit and tax duties.
• Preparing the annual P&L budget.
• Inputting the weekly stock cycle count.
• Supporting the team by providing holiday cover when requested.

Person Specification:

• HND in Accounts / Finance or similar (or working towards).
• Will also consider someone qualified by experience.
• Ideally someone with previous experience in similar role.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and drive to take on a varied role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable and have a professional attitude.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and support others.
• Confident to speak to individuals at all levels of the organisation both internally and externally.
• Demonstrate use of own initiative.
