We are currently on the lookout for a Vehicle Ramp Mechanic on a permanent staff basic. The candidate will ideally be a time served Mechanic and an agricultural/heavy plant background would be advantageous.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours - 0800-1600 with occasional weekend call out.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performing maintenance tasks, oil changes battery installations and lights.
Maintaining a working knowledge of current industry best practices and repairs.
Conducting diagnostic procedures and providing accurate repair recommendations.
Maintaining legible and accurate paperwork for company records.
Ensuring all GSE is properly maintained, and service schedule is implemented.
Strong communications and analytical skills.
Knowledge in all process compliant areas.
Ordering parts and stock control.
Regularly liaising with department head.
Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
Plant Mechanic skills essential.
