Overview

• Carrying out repairs to offshore CCU’s and tanks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks to improve safety and aesthetics of CCU.
• Documenting trip inspection (includes electronically).
• Carrying out visual inspection on all CCU’s (including inspection of lifting gear).
• Non fleet and third-party repairs or fabrication.
• Performing cutting and heating tasks by use of oxygen and acetylene.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Working knowledge and prior experience of M.I.G and Flux Core welding processes and techniques in multiple positions.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work to a high standard or workmanship.
• Ability to learn new skills.
• Working to tight deadlines in a safe and accurate manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised in diligent and safe manner.

Applicants to this role require

• Prior welding experience.
• Tig Welding (stainless steel and aluminium) (not essential).
• Numeracy and literacy.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift driving (not essential).
• Ability to perform fabrication work to offshore standard DNV 2.7-1.
