Flamboyant Optimist & Black Belt Problem Solver

After graduating with a law degree from Robert Gordon University—complete with an award for top academic grades and a stint volunteering at the university law centre—Abbie realised she loved the theory of law more than the practice.

Searching for a career where her energy and passion would be an asset, Abbie felt an affinity for working in a fast-paced, people-facing role at a values-led company where her ideas and efforts could make a real difference. Fortunately, she found TMM Recruitment.

While studying, she honed her leadership skills at Tesco, becoming a store supervisor within two years. Outside of work, she’s a devoted dog mum to Daisy the cocker spaniel, a lover of musical theatre, quiz night regular, and avid reader. She’s currently working her way through Aberdeen’s escape rooms before focusing her tactical brainpower on escape room challenges further afield.

Abbie is a black belt in martial arts – the result of her mum’s desperate attempt to save the family sofa from childhood wrestling matches.

Abbie's Working Style

Psychometric Assessment (PPA)

Known for being outgoing, helpful, and a real “get-stuck-in” teammate, Abbie brings infectious energy to everything she does. She’s also known for her kindness—a trait recognised as far back as school, when she was awarded the Bethan Webb Award for being warm and approachable.  Motivated by a genuine interest in others, her goal is to make a real impact, persistently see projects through to their conclusion and help others.
